I recently went on vacation to San Diego, CA with my family. While down there we rented a 2 bedroom condo about 900 sqft that was located by Mission Beach and Sea World (in a prime vacation getaway spot). The hostess/landlord who owned the property charged slightly over $1,000 for 4 nights.

I got into discussions with her what her thoughts were concerning renting out her condo on AirBnB (a website that allows you to act like a “hotel” and rent out your whole house/apartment/condo or room to guests for a daily or weekly charge).

She LOVED airbnb.com and stated that she makes roughly 3 times the amount of rental income by renting it out short-term… than if she would rent it out the traditional way to long-term tenants.

SO that got me to thinking… I could buy a condo in Las Vegas by the Strip (prime area). I could also buy a condo in San Diego, since it’s our goal to buy a summer home in San Diego… and spend 3 months during the summertime out in San Diego to escape the Las Vegas desert summers.

But my biggest questions were this — would it be worth it?

How would $8,500 in less than 24 hours sound like to you? My Texas coaching students Kellie & Tarek got a property under contract from a motivated seller on a Friday evening & the next freakin’ day (Saturday) signed the paperwork with a cash buyer to bring in $8,500, LOL
The formula to wholesaling houses is there. Find a motivated seller with a distressed property & get the property under contract. Get a cash buyer with money. Sell your rights to the buyer. Make money. Rinse & repeat.
